My two most recent books are "Royal Poetrie: Monarchic Verse and the Political Imaginary of Early Modern England" (Cornell University Press) and "Destabilizing Milton: 'Paradise Lost' and the Poetics of Incertitude" (Palgrave). I am currently editing the second edition of Approaches to Teaching "Paradise Lost" and writing a short history of early modern England for literature majors.
